Charlie is committed to working toward collective healing and liberation for all members of our community. He completed a clinical and cultural internship at Mayamotion Healing, and is thrilled to remain part of the team as a fellow. He earned his master of social work degree at New Mexico State University. Charlie currently resides in Lyons, Colorado, where he also grew up and has fostered a deep connection with the land and waters over multiple decades. He is of mixed European descent, and was lucky to have some contact with his Greek heritage during childhood.

Charlie has been involved in various service projects in Central and South America, and has been profoundly impacted by the cariño, medicina, and cultural depth of the people and places he has had contact with while traveling. As a clinician, he operates with care for the importance of culture and heritage in the healing process, especially as it relates to the lived experience of oppressed populations.

Charlie has a background in ecopsychology, yoga, meditation, Earth tending, writing, and music. He believes that the healing journey can be profoundly fortified through connection to nature, healthy lifestyle choices, community collaboration, and artistic self expression. His unique psychotherapeutic offering is grounded in connection, creativity, safety, and trust.
