MARIANA PASCUAL-MIRANDA
she/her/ella
Clinical & Cultural Psychotherapist Intern
Mariana Pascual-Miranda is a queer, DACAmented immigrant from Toluca, México, and a bilingual graduate student in social work, deeply committed to culturally rooted, community-based healing. She believes that healing does not happen in isolation, but in connection with self, community, land, and ancestral knowledge.
Her practice is grounded in cultural humility and a deep understanding of the systemic and emotional stressors impacting immigrant, Latinx, and Spanish-speaking communities. Mariana integrates decolonial and community-centered approaches to therapy, honoring each client’s cultural identity, resilience, and lived experience.
She supports clients navigating intergenerational trauma, identity development, anxiety, grief, including the often unspoken grief of migration and ambiguous loss, and life transitions. She recognizes that advocacy and organizing can be powerful sources of healing, particularly for those whose pain is rooted in injustice.
Beyond the therapy space, Mariana has engaged in immigrant rights policy work, offering testimony in support of pro-immigrant legislation in Colorado and collaborating with grassroots organizations to expand access to education and culturally responsive care. Mariana provides affirming and strengths-based therapy, and is committed to creating therapeutic spaces rooted in dignity, safety, and collective liberation.
